I bought a largest of aftermarket MAF's several years ago. Some were good and some were duds. I ended up selling the entire lot to a guy in Bolivia. I had about 100 of them.

The price difference between the Bosch and the cheaper ones probably reflects quality control, cost to make the part (mainly labor, I suppose, if Bosch is still manufacturing in the U.S.) and warranty duration. Bosch tools I've seen at Menards are made in China. So other precision parts....? I read the other day that some Buicks are going to be made in China next year. So the world goes.

This unit at $59.79 comes with a 90 day warranty.

The brand name is Walker "been in business for many decades", the ad says. But what does a muffler maker know about MAF's ? Most likely, the part is branded for Walker by some overseas manufacturer like the others on that page. So, we take out chances.

The Bosch MAF @ $130.00 on the page you linked includes a 1 year warranty against manufacturers defects (how do you prove that?). As we all know Bosch engineering and quality control are very good so they probably don't make many duds. So, for the extra c-note, we get a higher probability of longer life from the unit. And we're betting that the lower priced one will underperform.

I've found a couple of Bosch MAF's at the junk yard that work fine @ $11.00 each.

+1, I have picked up like 5 or 6 from the junkyard, every one of them worked fine.

It's better to install used one from junkyard which is oem and in good working order, instead of buying NEW aftermarket maf.
