Hi everybody,

A couple of weeks ago my car failed to start. With the feedback of your I figured out the problem was MAF sensor.

Meanwhile, I also replaced the fron 02 sensorsince I was getting an error code for it for a long time. 02 sensor was Bosh however for MAF I had to go something much cheaper.

The car is generally running smooth however sometimes, he is so weak, like I don't have turbo just a base motor, then it is changing and being powerful again. Yesterday I began to get 2 & 5 miss fire codes.

Approximately, 4 months ago, because of miss fire problem, I had to change distributor, plug wires and spark plugs (all bosch) . Before that I did test all cylinders for possible pressure leak and they're okay.

My question, would it any direct relation between MAF sensor / 02 replacement and miss fires? and does miss fire explain power loss? ( i know just want to hear from someone else also)

Thank u for your time.

Ray

Have you checked the fuel pressure at the rail? Maybe a fuel delivery problem.

4 months ago, yes I did. pressure values were normal. However I didn't check them again after replacing 02/maf...

but worth to try again.
