Ok, I'm back! 97k Miles on the clock . V70 2.5 T.
I pulled up the following ECM codes : 2900, 212D, 21ED, 420C
The first one refers to fuel pressure faulty signal
second long term fuel trim bank 2 signal too low (intermittent)
third long term fuel trim bank 1 signal too low and lastly
Evap signal too high
can all these codes come from the same faulty component? I figure with this low mileage there shouldn't be much wrong with the car. I have put a new MAF and Volvo air filter, nothing happened. The engine also idles like it's got a misfire. I have checked codes but no misfire codes come up. I have not done a power balance test yet but I suspect the fuel rail pressure sensor may have something to do with all this.
Any leads? Anyone had these codes before?
Dan
2005 V70 Check Engine Codes, what could they be from?

Just going off of those codes, I would figure that the fuel pressure is the culprit. Codes 2, 3, 4 could be caused by the fuel pressure being wonky.
The fuel pressure signal code would not pop up because of any of the other codes as it is (should be) a constant regardless of what is happening with the engine.
Someone correct me if I'm off on that!
I'd start with the fuel filter, and go from there. If you have a fuel pressure gauge, that would also be a great place to start.

UPDATE:
I found the cause for the fuel trims being lean. The hose that goes from the check valve to main vacuum of the manifold was completely collapsed and cracked open. I believe the other codes have to do with the fuel pressure sensor as I had another 2005 V70 before that would die all of a sudden without any reason and every now and then run rough. I changed that pressure sensor on the fuel rail and it was fixed. I have already ordered the sensor and I did pick up a fuel filter as this car only has 97k miles so nobody has changed it I guess. I just did the spark plugs this morning so it's well on it's way to run like a 97k Volvo!
Thanks for all your help Cvergi01

Ok, back again!
I have replaced the fuel pressure sensor and the filter and that cleared the fuel pressure code. Now, i've replaced a vacuum hose that had collapsed (the one that runs under the intake up to the center of the intake. The Long term fuel trim code is coming up still............. i've sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and hoses and it's not showed any sign of a vacuum leak. I did notice the MAF air hose clamp was loose. Can that be the leak? I figure it was a minute chance but wanted to see what else area is normally affected that cracks these hoses ?? I saw that the hoses that run back to the turbo on the right side of the block look kind of cinged but when I sprayed the carb cleaner it didn't show anything strange..........

It's tough love but you have to remove each hose and clamp and inspect them over the whole length to look for holes sand splits. On a turbo car, a small leak or loose clamp will kill the engine performance.

MVS...keep looking
Poster three weeks later...found it after 500 in parts thrown in.
It's not sexy, but it needs to be done. You cannot inspect induction system with it on the car.

Thanks! I will start by checking the hoses going into the turbo from intake............ those are most likely
will report back what I find out
