Hello,
Let me inaugurate my membership to this forum by asking a silly question. In folding down the rear seats, I have found that I cannot get them perfectly flat given that the rear head rests hit the rear bucket seats which are now in the up position. Are the rear headrests supposed to be removed? If so, how? I have fried my brain trying to figure this out. Yes, I am a new volvo owner... Just bought the 740 2 weeks ago to haul yard waste and visiting family members...
Thanks!

Just pull them straight up and out. They have a flat bar that fits into a ball bearing strung socket...very easy to get out.
The 740 is a great people and material hauler...lots of room!
