05' V70 DRL question

Hi all,

A while ago I had my indie turn off my DRL's because I find it silly that ALL the lights are on all the time with this function. I'm still annoyed that all the dash lights are on, but oh well. I guess there is no option to turn that off too.

I have seen two P2 cars now with what looks like a driving light option for the high beams. They just looked dimmer, kind of like what other cars have as driving lights. One was a 05' - 07' V70R, and the other was a plain jane S60 which I saw just yesterday. Both cars appeared to have their parking lights on at the same time.

Do you guys know something about this?
