New v70 owner!!!! WHOO!!!

Hey guys!
I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Cynthia, I am a former Chrysler programmer, and now a chorus teacher. I had my first volvo in August of 2015 after my chrysler minivan burnt to a shell. I drive a 1997 Volvo 960, but this is not why I am here. From today forward, my dd is now a 2000 Volvo v70 xc awd se. I purchased two cars today, one being the '00 V70, and the other an 01 V70. I now own 2 2001 V70's (one my sons, one my trip car), the 960 (now my husband's) and an '00 V70. My daughter the black jeep (ha) of the family drives a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Hemi. I can't wait to discuss!

Hmm... the Chrysler programmer's Chrysler burnt to a crisp? That's not suspicious at all.

Welcome Cynthia, to MVS.
Since your first Volvo was a red block engine acquired last August and the remaining are white blocks newer than '98 (the last year life was simple), we will await your calling the latter by your user name, while your husband blissfully refers to his 960 as the absolute perfect car.

I will say, in defense of newer cars, that of the myriad of things that have plagued my 99, only two have been unique to 99+ models, and only one of those was the ETM. If you can't handle the one-time purchase of a new ETM from Xemodex, you're not going to like a 98 car either.

That's quite a fleet of cars and dependent exemptions!

We will get daughter out of that Jeep and into a nice turbo stick shift V70 soon enough.

He cause my insurance premiums to go up $6000 because he scratched a new Volks CC with his '88 Iroc-Z. The AWD on all my cars work and I love them!!

I enjoy all of them very much. as for the jeep, she bought it herself, so, god bless.

After I bought the 01 and 00 v70's (in the same day) I gave him my 960 so he could scrap my last Chrysler ('00 Dodge Grand Caravan) The other v70 (beige) has over 170k on it and it gets me to Florida once a year.
