New to me '07 C70, running great, air conditioner ice cold. Until today. Went to move the car out of the driveway and noticed the CEL and a message on the display. Not verbatim but "Engine service required" or similar. Hmmm. Went to look it up in the manual but didn't see anything specific. An hour later we drove on an errand and the AC is blowing hot air. It was 95 degrees out. I've confirmed that the AC compressor fuse is ok but the compressor clutch isn't engaging.
Will these cars throw a CEL and this message for an AC problem? Or is that a coincidence? Anything I can look for? It's very tight under the hood, much moreso than the 855T I'm familiar with.
Hate to take it to the dealer right off the bat.
Thanks,
ER
