Hello guys,
I am completely new working on cars. My 2004 s60 R needs brake rotors.
Do you have any suggestions which aftermarket brand should I choose? I want to put on something better than the stock ones, which by the way are not slotted neither drilled.
New to DIY - Which brake rotors ?

Are you looking at good non-slotted or non-drilled rotors? If so, then I would go with Brembo from FcpEuro. They are one of our sponsors here and I believe they are very good rotors. Otherwise, if you're looking for real performance (drilled and/or slotted) then I have put zink plated drilled and slotted rotors on my S70 from R-1 Concepts. You have a lot of options with them too and they are reasonable and I have had great service from the rotors I've bought from them. Btw, I'm reading now that probably both slotted and drilled is over-kill. Less meat for the pads to grab. If I had it to do over again, I think I would just get slotted rotors, but everyone's preference and how they drive is different. Here is R-1's website section for the '06 S60 R: http://www.r1concepts.com/listing/searc ... s/allbrand It should be the same for the V70 R of the same year unless you've already gone to a larger brake kit, then you would have to take that into consideration when ordering your rotors.

Does anyone have a good EUROPEAN site to buy from ? In this way I can avoid shipping & customs import taxes.

Ah, sorry- I know of no one in Europe, but you might just do a search. Also R-1 Concepts may have a subsidiary in Europe, so make sure and check their page.
