2003 S40 Caliper holding bolts

Hey guys,

Doing the pads on our 2003 S40T and I read in few places that apparently I need to replace the bolts holding the caliper on the bracket, is that indeed the case or can I just give them a good clean, use some loctite and off we go? I don't understand why Volvo would use such a small bolts on such a critical part .... even my Mazda Familia has thicker/stronger bolts!

Also could anyone please tell me what torque do I need to tighten these bolts?
