Turbo Boost

Post by MoSsElMaN »

Hello folks.........i've just recently fitted a boost gauge to my 850 T5 Wagon Automatic................................................and would like to confirm if my boost levels are normal?

*everything on the engine is bone stock

1) I get about 0.6 to 0.8bar in the low gears until bout 5000rpm and then boost begins to taper off to bout 0.5
2) In between each gearshift......the boost drops to 0.5bar and then begins to increase with speed.

apart from that the car idles beautifully, has no leaks and runs fine......

so is my car NORMAL?
