ABS module reprogram with VIDA?

Before buying a new ABS module, I would get the DICE/VIDA and run it to see what the code really is.
Sometimes the dealer takes us for what we don't know and the actual ABS module might not be the issue at all. After you do that, then you'll know more of what you might need or not need. I do believe it's possible to program the ABS system yourself, or at least you'll know what programming it truly needs (from the dealer if you can't do it yourself). My suggestion is, if the latter becomes necessary- go to another dealer with a print out from VIDA in hand showing them what you're willing to pay for and have them do that specific programming and that's ALL...don't let them take you on a wild goose $$$ chase!
