850t exhaust question
855t is stock, stage 1 and runs like a top. I had an opportunity to install a SS 3" down pipe with cat, which "feels" great. Exhaust is stock from that point back. I was thinking of replacing the stock muffler and remaining pipe, though there is nothing wrong with them. No plans to drive it hard, I use this car for long trips. Should I look to a 3" cat back pipe and less restrictive muffler, or not? Will this provide significant benefit to exhaust "flow" over what is stock in there now and does it matter, seeing as this car is rarely driven hard or seeing much boost? Thanks.
Agree it's noisier however I prefer it. If you want stainless which should last much longer than the stock you could change. Looks pretty cool with big fat tip too. Not sure that you'll see much gain in performance. I think manifold is more beneficial.

Forgot to add R manifold in place, thanks for reminding me. It does sound nice right as it is. The muffler people are incredibly good, and seem to feel they can modify with free flow muffler (Flowmaster) without adding much to the noise. I guess what I'm really wondering is does the car benefit significantly from opening the exhaust up the rest of the way? Or is it personal preference?
