Firing Order

Hello.
I have a 2004 V70 2.4l B5244S engine.
Does anyone know the firing order of the cylinders?
I have a cylinder #3 misfire and trying to locate the correct one.

It doesn't matter which end you count from, # 3 is in the middle

But you start with the front of the engine, which is where the timing belt and serpentine belt are ( being non drive side specific) and label that cylinder Number 1 and on from there.

Warning...at least one manual, the Haynes I believe, as the firing order wrong in print.

Most of us , including me, with P2 coil on plug ignition have no clue what our firing order is, we leave that to the ECU

Is firing order the same as linear cylinder numbers.
They don't fire in a linear fashion, or do they? Surely that would cause whipping in the crankshaft.
I suppose swapping two around would indicate which one is which.

I believe all these white block Volvo's fire 1-2-4-5-3
