CV joint and wheel bearing

Hi everyone
Been lurking in the background for some time but this is my first attempt at a post
I have a C70 manual T5 year 2000 does any one no what CV joint and wheel bearing I need . Mainly how many splines are on them , car is in constant use and ideally want to order them first before I start . I have looked on eBay and the net but can't really get a straight answer

The Volvo parts Lisle website has really good indexing of parts by VIN - you can get a good part number from them and then source them locally.

You will probably have to get them from your Volvo source but if you like the car (who doesn't like a C70 manual in Britain?) use Volvo parts and "cry once"

Why not just speak to a Volvo dealer. With the Vin# they can identify exactly what you need, assuming they are any good. You don't have to buy from them unless you feel guilty and at their prices I wouldn't!

If your boot is torn just buy the rebuild kit. Last time I did it I didn't even remove the axle from the transmission. The ring on the driver side makes it a pain. Not sure which side you want to work on, but even for a beginner it's about a job that can be done in an afternoon. You may have to get someone to remove the nut, other than that pretty easy. Whatever you do, don't get aftermarket, they are junk. Better off going to junk yard for OEM, but as noted, GKN boot change will give you many years service if they are in good working order.

It's not the boot it's the joint , the wheel bearing has grumbling for a good year now so thought now is the time to sort it out.
The trouble is it seems Volvo will only sell the whole drive shaft as one , ive seen just the CV joint on eBay but there seems to be two different sizes, cheap and cheerful I know but I am on a budget( being the time of year) as long as I got the right size bearing to fit the new CV joint would it matter, the bearing looks the same apart from the amount of splines
