Factory add-on Bluetooth/handsfree module

Wondering if anyone else has installed the Volvo Factory add-on Bluetooth/handsfree module in their XC90 (I have a 2005 XC, the stereo option just below their top of the line offering... forget what they call it).

Specifically, wondering if this install requires a dealership reprogramming to get it to work. Or is that only required if you have the top of the line sound system which requires installation of the mute option wiring harness and kit?

I am planning on installing the BT add-on this Friday and would like to be adequately prepared. Thanks in advance.

If you have a 2005, pretty sure you have an amp under the passenger so believe you'll need a mute relay and harness (PN 31210174 for standard, PN 30775498 for premium). Installed in my 2005 back in 2006 (standard), and did my 2008 (premium) in 2015. For that one I had to cobble a kit together. No programming whatsoever required, pretty much plug and play.

There's a guy on Swedespeed (khnitz) who still has some old parts around, he also sells on Bonanza (eBay competitor). It's where I got the relay/harness for the 2008 (rest was bought used on eBay). He may know where to find one if you're looking.

I realize the wiring harness below is originally intended for a Parrot BT add-on, but would it work if paired with a VOLVO BT add-on?
