Twin Cities Minnesota Axle alert, 98 NA, AT

Post by JimBee »

I pulled the lower control arms from a 98 non-turbo auto trans yesterday at the Upullrparts.com yard in Rosemount, MN. Red sedan, row 321. My harvest included an FAG new looking front hub for $11.00.

Not sure if the axles are OEM, but they look like they might be. They have newish outer boots, and the inner boots look like they're probably original. Since they're just dangling there out of the transmission, it would be a quick 10 minute visit—grab and go.

I assume these would fit any NA, AT p80.

The car had of lot of front replacement parts before its demise. Still there are tie rod ends and the inner tie rods might be new. Likewise, sway bar links. Not sure of the brands, but they look quite new. The left front caliper (ATE) and front rotor that has some surface rust that would likely scuff off with use; both look usable. I tested the caliper piston moves freely and it wasn't leaking and its bleeder screw is not frozen, one of the first things I check.
