Help to identify hoses

Smoked to find air leak causing a P2187 code found 2 hoses to the side of turbo intake but can not find how they are connected?? Seems 1 is connected to rear of head other ? In trying to look up replacement to have on hand at a lose as to what hoses these are. Is there any diagram on hoses so I can get the proper replacement?

just the opposite view , hoses attach to head just in front of turbo .I've searched many diagrams and closest found was PVC hose or some say J hose ? But that was for P1

You should have a diagram under your hood.

There are three connections on the snorkel on a turbo P2 -

Big fat one is PCV main vacuum

Small hose to evap purge for purging while under boost - that one will come back to a T then head to evap purge valve

Blue turbo control pressure boost dump - then the TCV closes the pressure from the turbo is recycled back into the turbo

Order of the small hoses is not important. Condition of hoses is.

Thanks, but it does not show what hose connects to head. Looks like a hard hose to replace cause the clamp would be at wrong angle to tighten would have to use like a spring clamp and can not trace that hose without much dismantling before I start would like to know what I am up against and have proper parts on hand.

You will need to draw a picture or take a photo, words just arent descriptive enough.

There are two more connections on the turbo case - hose from pressure casing which goes to red connection on turbo control valve

Black hose from Compressor Blow off valve which goes to vacuum connection on intake manifold.

I think thats every hose tabulated at least.

There is no turbo vacuum hose to the header. I guess you're referring to the air intake manifold? That is the bypass valve hose connected onto the turbo, not the air snorkel to it's right.

There is a PCV hose connected to the header down to the oil trap beneath the air intake manifold.

think I will just try diving in to dismantling and follow hoses if leak is found will check replacement part and just duck tape leak for now as it is only air leak.

I struggled to reassemble vac hoses after engine swap. One reason for my confusion was that donor engine came from '06 XC70, but mine is a 2008 S60. I even made an extra trip to the junkyard to take pictures of vac hose routing, but it was all in vain, because it turns out Volvo modified routing for year 2008. Take a look at the attached photo collage (sorry, it's the best I could wrestle out of Google Photos). Bottom left photo is from my 2008 S60 air hose, the other three pics are from the 2006 vehicle. Bottom right is the hose I took from the junkyard before I realized it was not necessary. In the upper right pic the bottom hose bib is where turbo connects. My pencilwork on the image is not very good, but it is accurate.Hope this helps.

Removing them and putting back old ones is a real fools errand - take that labor and put those parts to bed for another 10 years - for $10 worth of hose.
