Do you thinks all the bugs have been worked out or it's time for some major TLC? What about as a flipper?

Do you flip cars? If so you should know.
Repair the inoperative window.
Track down with certainty and cure the check engine light.
People may just sit on the seat covers or they may take a peek beneath them.
It WILL need some "major TLC" like shocks/struts, likely brakes + tires + coolant + parking brake hardware
The word is out on 2002's sharing ETM design woes, some transmission weakness, some bad DIM's.
You can point out the separate, easily + cheaply changed thermostat.
What are 150K '02's fetching in your neck of the woods?

You'd need to be an expert in early P2s to be able to flip regularly. You’d need a network of buyers and word of mouth, like JRL has, MVS can kind of fill that role, but you’d need to be on all the forums. This one, you might get lucky, or get unlucky. Retail it’s maybe a $3500 car. Early P2s are gambling.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

My thoughts exactly. In fact, I think rather unlucky with no working window, check engine, a spring seat going, perhaps poor mpg and who knows what else. 'Super low miles' as long as you keep spending. By the kind of listing - just a feeling - this may be the kind of car that you'll keep 1-2 years working so-so and spending the least until it finally calls it quit. Be sure the throttle body and the transmission work good enough

I'm not a car flipper but it looked tempting. Saw a guy on Youtube buying $400 dollar cars and flipping them consistently and making $500 to $1000 many days. This one seemed to look OK. I rarely sell cars because by the time it's ready for sale I know too much and in good conscience can't sell it. Either sell it for next to nothing or donate. Used Volvo's are not that abundant in the area and the higher priced ones (market value) remain on the lot for a long time. Exceptionally clean ones are gone in a day or two.

"This one, you might get lucky, or get unlucky." Thanks, I don't have time to roll the wrong dice so going to stay away.

I think I'll stick to the earlier S70 (98 ~ 00) if I do get another. Kind of thinking along the lines also as a beater but the price has to go down to about $800 so there is money to throw some parts at it for a couple of years. I think though the next one will be a V8 XC90 along the 08-10 model. Going to pass on this one.

I think you are in one of the many states that’s requires you To be licensed as a dealer if you flip More than 6 vehicles or so. I know NC is tough on titles.
THe life cycle of the common louseflipper:
Buy at x, sell at 2x, boast
Eventually one day you sell a POS
Decent human flipper eats it and continues.
The loser flipper doesn’t, said customer report you To state and you have a very bad financial day.
