Front Strut Replacement

Just an FYI, I got a smoking deal on a set of KYB Excel-G struts on Rock auto a while back. Wholesaler close out @ 30 bucks per side. Hadn't had time to get them on until last night. I had already put new Seats/bearings on before but after my girlfriend blew the RF tire out in a pot hole it had a noise up there. Turns out the noise was that the piston had separated from the rod inside the strut and had no resistance in upward motion.

The struts looked like great quality and went together very nicely. I have always had good luck with KYB on trucks and muscle cars etc. It rides much much better and handles our crappy concrete highway bumpiness very nicely now. I had some crappy out of round tires on it but just put on a new set on a black Friday deal and its almost as smooth as I want it to be. Still need to surface the rear rotors and install rear shocks. Every single piece besides the springs is new by this point on the front suspension.
