2005 XC70 Smell of gas (New to Volvo's)

I am a new-to-me owner of a well cared for 2005 XC70 and I'm am endeavoring to learn all that I can to maintain this vehicle.

We have noticed when the tank is full that there is a smell of gas at the driver's side rear wheel so I got out this evening and crawled underneath the car to take a look. I am attaching 3 photos of the same spot where I found some wetness but I am requesting assistance for what I should begin looking into. I know the bottom line in the photos (closest to me) is the right rear brake line but the other 2 lines stacked on top are a mystery at the moment. I've read there is a fuel vapor canister line that can be the cause so if someone can point me to a procedure or video, I would appreciate it.

I am no stranger to working on vehicles or motorcycles but, as I mentioned, I am new to Volvo's.

By way of orientation, the large blob at the top of the pictures is the fuel tank. These were taken right next to the driver's rear wheel.

Did the last owners do lots of back road (gravel) driving? Both sides of fuel pump tops\caps can get dirty and full of dust in the threads. Mine, 02 v70xc, did same thing but on both sides. I took off top balck retainer rings with teeth on them. You can use small punch or dull chissel with hammer to gently unscrew it. Or buy the special tool for it. And clean them. The black retaining rings. Threads may have a Bunch of crap\dirt\dust in them and fuel gets by. It worked for mine they were both filthy. Try that before you take something huge apart. My 02 has open ports on both sides under back seats. Hope yours does too. There are vids around ,maybe here, to get to them if yours does not. That make sense?

But if the leak is on frame next to the tank then ya maybe your fuel line. On closer inspection it looks like possible connector leaks there. Maybe rocks from back roads? Have you ever fueled it while engine is running?

He gets the smell on a full tank. If it was fuel line or fuel filter he would get the smell all the time ... EVAP.

For Diagnostic purposes next time do not fill up all the way. See if you get the gas smell.
When pumping gas does the gas pump keep shutting off unless you pump slow?

Being a P2 car, could it be one with the recall on the fuel pump assembly for cracking? June

Volvo recall 220, NHTSA # 09V48. Does not include 2005 XC70 but you was close, 2004 XC70 is included.

Many thanks for the replies. The prior owner was an elderly person that barely drove the vehicle at all but had all the services done (and more) at their Volvo dealer (I have invoices). This car has probably never seen more than 4000 rpm, nevermind off roading conditions. My thought is evap lines, too, due to possible dry rotting. So, is there a how-to or video on this? It's my understanding that the lines in question for that are at the top of the tank anyway...
