New cylinderhead, what about CVVT?

Post by 850T5Ritalia »

Hey guys, When placing another cylinderhead, what is te best way to go with the CVVT? Are they all interchangeable?
My current head has a non-spingloaded yellow CVVT. If I place another head with cams and cover it seems like the best way is to use the cams and cover that come with the new head. Also when the CVVT on the 'new' cams has not been removed, does it need calibration?
I'm looking to buy a good head which comes complete with cams, CVVT and camcover.
