Code P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

Is this o2 sensor the one ahead of the cat on a 5cy turbo?

That single code is not enough to tell what the problem is on your car. Do you have the ability to see live data? What you want to look at is the activity of the pre-cat and post-cat O2 sensors. Fuel trims would also be helpful to as the code could be caused by an air leak.

decided to replace both sensors - $200 from FCP -parts coming this week. that sensor wire connector under the intake tube to the turrbo is a bear...
