Throttle cable replacement.

Am replacing my Throttle cable. This looks more of a headache than I thought the Teflon piece broke along the cable by the adjusted flange .. I ordered one volvo genuine from amaz. It looks identical some sites say it won't fit, some say it does. I guess I'll see when it gets here. But how hard is this. Mines so brittle at the firewall and loose. Any tips will be appreciated ( : TY
