Fuel level sensor readings question

Post by gnalan »

I was checking different things in VIDA the other day, and I noticed the two fuel level sensors read a different value. One said 11L and the other said 39.5L for a total of 50.5L. Do these look right?

Can someone with a full tank, 3/4 of a tank, or somewhere in between, check their readings and post them, please? I don't think I have a stuck float, since I've driven the car clear down to when the fuel light comes on without any problems, but I'm curious to see what others report. I thought the tank was split evenly, with half the gas on each side, making both floats read the same value, but since the fuel pump is located higher up the tank I may be wrong.
