No horn no audio controls on the steering wheel. Topic is solved

After replacing the lower steering coupler that was a challenge now the soft controls on the steering wheel (airbag) dont work. This includes the horn and audio buttons. I did lock the steering wheel in place but my assistant might have turned the wheel when I was grabbing a cold snack. Just Great..

With luck maybe some wires/connectors just got pulled out behind the airbag. Find a video on replacing the steering angle sensor, it'll show you the lay of the land behind the airbag including the connectors for those controls and horn that are oriented such that they could well have been pulled out by accident.

If you're in the right mood and also have a T25 on hand, it's maybe a 20 minute job to get all of that apart and gain access to the cables, either to reconnect if disconnected or to do some testing with a meter and try to diagnose which may be affected by a broken wire somewhere.

Well come to find out the clock spring snapped. Ran to Pick&Pull and grabbed one. Reset the clock installed and good to go. Everything’s back to normal for now
