Torque mount 30680750
Lower transmission mount, basically. Will this part # fit an 850? Seems to be some confusion, maybe on my part, thanks. FCP part # works, search of Volvo genuine says no, sure looks the same. 9141042 may be Volvo PN that fits the 850. IIRC, something about the bolt hole placement is different.

FCP Euro does not list 30680750 as fitting the 850. Part number 30680750 is for the P2 S60, S80, V70, XC70, XC90.
FCP has 9141042 which is the correct part number for the P80 850, C70, S70, V70.

OK, thanks, 9141042 it is, then. I'm going OEM Volvo from Tasca I think. I'm concerned with some Lemforder stuff which now accompanies a dramatic lowering in their pricing. Just put in FCP's Lemforder control arms, arrived in Lemforder bag, cast arms are thinner than original Volvo and look less robust. They will likely be fine. Nevertheless, I suspect some Lemforder stuff is now rebranded something else. 28 bucks is suspiciously in keeping with the cheap(est) aftermarket replacements.

IPD does a (expensive) mount with poly bushes. I don't poly-bushes for upper or lower as they are to harsh for me. Some like them.

Some information in this thread is wrong.
Yes, FCP lists 30680750 as fitting the P80: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... 50#fitment.
Yes, 30680750 fits a P80 just fine. I bought a 30680750 from FCP last week and installed it on my 98 V70. It fits properly, all bolt holes line up etc.
One thing I will say, on 30680750 the smaller rubber joint on the mount is more flexible than I recall from previous purchases/installations. Otherwise they appeared identical side-by-side. If anyone has any insight or thoughts on that I'd be curious to hear. Maybe this is the/a difference between 30680750 and 9141042?
The mount I just installed had the "Volvo" (or some other) lettering ground off; Hutchison is the manufacturer for Volvo.

Thats right, FCP Euro defines OE as Original Equipment .. the same part as Genuine Volvo without the blue and white packageing and the Volvo stamp.
He could buy the Hutchison part at FCP Euro for $30.00, no sacrifice in quality and and save a bundle for same part as Genuine Volvo.=FCP Euro wrote: OE stands for Original Equipment. These are the same as Genuine parts originally supplied to dealerships, except with the dealer logos removed. The manufacturers remove these logos due to licensing agreements so that the parts can be sold outside the dealer network. Because OE parts are sold directly from their respective manufacturer, they can be had for a much lower price, which makes it an excellent value, especially when you consider there is no sacrifice in quality. You can learn more about OE parts on our OE Academy.

Wish they would legislate a standard definition for OEM, OE & OER.

Their faq page has exactly this info.RickHaleParker wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 18:09Wish they would legislate a standard definition for OEM, OE & OER.

"What's the Difference Between Genuine, OE, OEM, aftermarket?
We identify what we call "Quality Level" on all products on our website. You can see the quality level of any product by visiting the product page, and viewing the "Details" section:
We define the different quality levels as the following:
Genuine
This is a product that we have sourced from the local dealer network and is the same part that the dealership would offer you to install on your car today. This part will come branded by the vehicle manufacturer (BMW, Volvo, Audi, etc.) and often at a premium cost. In nearly every instance the part inside the box will have been manufactured by one of their approved OE Suppliers such as Bosch, Hella, Mann, Lemforder, or many others. Genuine parts from FCP will be sourced from a dealer and in the car manufacturer’s packaging.
OE
This is the original part used by the vehicle manufacturer on the car when it left the factory and FCP recommends OE replacement as one of the best options for quality and price. The vehicle manufacturers (BMW, Volvo, etc.) do not manufacture many products themselves but rather they contract their Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) to do so. The products that we list as OE are guaranteed to be the exact same part that was on your car when it left the assembly line. In some cases, they are even better quality than what is currently available in Genuine because over time some Genuine contracts get changed to save money. All of these parts will be stamped with the OEM’s brand name such as Bosch, Hella, or Lemforder but due to contractual agreements, the vehicle manufacturer’s logo cannot be on the product and may be removed from the part.
OEM
OEM parts are produced by a manufacturer that meets the high-quality standards and produces at least one part for a vehicle manufacturer. FCP recommends OEM replacement as one of the best options for quality and price. Typically all OEM manufacturers adhere to stringent quality control and are known to be exceptional quality. FCP has completed decades of research and we are very stringent with the term “OEM”, rest assured that every product that we list as OEM will be of equal quality to that of OE or Genuine parts we sell.
Aftermarket
Aftermarket parts are produced by a manufacturer that has not been contracted to produce parts for a car’s assembly line. These products have been reproduced to meet original product specifications. FCP has stringent controls on quality and every product that we have available for sale and the aftermarket parts that we have listed are high-quality and affordable replacements for a more expensive Genuine, OE, or OEM option.
Performance
Performance parts are upgrades over the parts that were originally installed on your vehicle. They are designed to enhance the feel, look, or durability of your vehicle. Performance products are designed to modify the originally intended function of your vehicle."
