Hi guys, just a quickie. Does anyone know if the front seats(or even all of them) from a '93/94 940 fit into a '94 850, without a massive amount of physical changes taking place.
Secondly, any ideas as to the value of the 940's seat,(cloth, good condition) might be.
Thanks in anticipation

I would check VolvoPartsWebStore to see if the both cars used the same part number. Probably not, but it's worth checking.

Do you have access to the 940 seats? I know they seat portion is completely different and flatter to that of the 850/S/V70.
If you have access to the seats you will need to measure the distance between the seat sliders to see if they are a match. If they are different, then the work to make them fit will be fairly major (there are pins in the 850 seats that go into a hole for example). Then there is the issue of the SIPS system being compatible. If they are not then you loose all you airbags as the SRS light will be on which disables the airbags for safety.
Neil.
