Re: Body Parts Interchange

MY 2008 had both platforms. Cars do not have platforms. They are of a platform. They can only be of one. It was 2007 that Volvo produced both P2 & P3 V70s. The model year, not the car, had both platforms. But lets rephrase then: During the model year 2008 both platforms were sold. This was in t...

Re: Body Parts Interchange

Those are calendar years. They do not correspond to model years 1:1. The P3 was launched the summer 2007 as MY2008. And the P80 was still the 855 for MY96.

As another example my MY2004 was registered April 2003.

Re: 2001 S-80; 2001 XC-70 Body/Door Interchange

Remember the S80 chassis has a different year span for each generation than the V70 m so you can’t just compare model years.

Re: XC70 2001 with rough idle but otherwise works great

Didn't read all, but maybe the fuel pump is about to fail ? Also thinking about the ETM on these early XC70 As for the evap code, maybe check this valve - I believe on 2001 it's located on the radiator fan www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H2lIuQ8e34

Re: ETM Happily Ever After

Do you know anything about the donor car mileage? The MTBF on the MM is about 150k+, so that will give you an indicator Once you start getting codes, you have about 10,000 miles before hard limp mode, in my limited experience You beat 5:1 odds getting that donor to bolt in and work without software ...
