i would say its your brake switch, the LED draws less current than the lower incandescent bulbs so that may explain it..not sure

ive looked at the wiring diagram and it looks doable. I cannot post a pic because it looks like this website is having issues but the xenon has an extra relay CM16 that needs to be re wired to the standard CM17

thats the front of the engine. its bolted onto a bracket to the block. i was thinking you meant the round mounds on the sides of the engine they also both use brackets.

i used this guys but fine tuned it by using very small resistors to allow the bulb out feature to remain working. I also was not able to get the turn signals to work using this method, i did experiment with a variable resistor and could pinpoint the exact spot that triggered the fast flashing/normal...
