Re: Volvo Radio missing, Aftermarket fire smell issue!
Everything you need to assess your speaker system at this point is in the trunk. Don’t sweat any of the details between the trunk and the speakers for now. There’s a good chance that it’s all still OK. At least if they left the stock speakers. Fingers Crossed. It looks like all the other guy did was...

Re: 96 850 Wagon antenna question.
All 70 series cars came with two antennas for the purpose of supporting Diversity Tuning equipped head units like the SC-816/900/901. In those cars, you’ll find a regular sized Motorola plug for the main antenna in the left window, and a mini-motorola plug for the sub antenna in the right. The left ...

Re: p/s pressure line NLA
If you need the entire line,
aftermarket is certainly out there.
You can start with eBay as a baseline.

I haven’t used it myself, and it’s a little clunky,
but if you want to stay stock, it’s certainly an option.

Re: Fix or Scrap?
Had you been in that wagon, it would have protected you.
I say Return the Favor and let it live on as a Wreckreational Vehicle.
Assuming the stereo is OK... Stereo’s OK, right? That’s kinda everything.
May the Force Be With You!

Re: 1996 850 GLT Wagon Gas Gauge Never Reads Full
Just for grins, where is your voltage level
hanging out when the car is running.
I’ve never heard of low system voltage
causing that particular problem, but
it’s always a good thing to consider
with electrical problems.

Re: Clear vs. OEM headlamp lens
A lot of folks seem very happy with the TYCs. Glad they worked out.
Depot Jewels are also pretty reasonable these days, too.

Re: 96 Volvo 850 AWD: Key Fob compatibility?
Volvo uses different fobs and receivers
in a number of worldwide markets. What
affects Volvo fobs in Europe may not
apply to cars in the US.
