Re: 1999 S70 GLT - Suggestions on broken lugnuts
You should be able to just remove the caliper and rotor. You can then use vice grips to either turn the remaining lug bolt out either forward or backwards from the hub.

As you have already found out, vacuum hoses are a good start.
Putting aside the obvious (timing belt etc), I would think engine mounts would be next on my list.

Inspired my need to document stuff…
New Nissens heater core on a 1999 s70
Outside 40F
Fresh coolant
90C thermostat stable at ect reporting 90C
On fan speed 3-4 reporting 150F at dash vents on fresh air steady state

If you have the wheel off you might as well grease the slider pins on the pistons and check the wear of the pads. Slightly seized pistons will normally wear out one side faster. Fluid will come out of the bleeder regardless, hydraulic force is significant and it will follow path of least resistance....
