Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
It's the Internet. Now you have someone ordering a DOHC and installing it on a 20 valve car just yo be pedan-dick.
Merry Kwanzakadan, everyone
Isn't DOHC Latin for Decadus on Headus Cylinderus....10 Valves?

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
No way. Slightly longer. It fits along the grooves however the bolt holes don't line up and the oil filler cutout has an unsighlty gap. I might just get 1st prize for answering the most oddball question on the forum though I thought I had that nailed when I answered the blinker fluid color question.

I think we finally have this down
Cars with DOHC on the cover have hood springs that fail early, and 20 valve cars valve springs won't fit the rear springs of P2s

Re: Safety of S70 vs newer cars
Here's a video of a P80 vs new V70 crash test (the one June is mentioning a few post above). I think the old one stands up pretty well.... https://youtu.be/so2wJJPge88 According to a major swedish insurance company, investigating 170 000 accidents, the P80 is,still in 2017, 20-39% safer than the ave...

Re: '98 S70, 93k miles, intermittent Rough running and stalling
Disconnect Maf connector, start the car and test drive it.If problem disappears...Maf is bad. Other than that...could be a HUGE vacuum leak or FPR failure. But,let's go one step at a time...cheapest things first! *Ding Ding Ding* we have a winner. Mechanic finally got to my car, MAF was bad, ...

Re: Volvo 850 power loss under hard acceleration
Please, Sommerfeldt and Misha, try to keep up the good conversations we're used to in this forum. There are tons of forums out there for insults.
