Re: Name that rusty part
I've seen two like that. I've always wondered why they didn't use the standard black plastic JPT connector there.

Re: Name that rusty part
Are these crumbled wiring connectors still available to purchase new? Without a new replacement, how could this plug be rehabilitated? Could it be a heat shield somewhere underneath the car? Sorry I forgot about this thread. 50 MVS points to jreed and scot850 for identifying that the first post was ...

Re: What is the thick yellow grease inside the PNP switch?
Those contacts don't look bad at all, seem pretty even though I don't see them all in profile at the same time. Re: 97 850 GLT crank no start after very cold temps
Well, it's working again, but I couldn't tell you exactly why. We replaced the coil. We were going to put a few mls of oil in each cylinder, but after doing #1, the rubber boots from the IPD spark plug wires stayed on the plugs when the wire was pulled off. There didn't seem to be any way of removin...

Re: ECC climate control temp sensor measurements made easier
I know this is an old thread but I am fianlly getting back to looking at my ECC issue and wondering if thie make shift code reader will work on a 1999 V70 before I try and source the parts. I am sure I will have to by like 100 of each bit since there are no small electronic stores to be found anywhe...

Jreed, I think it was taken care of already. If you click on the username it doesn't exist anymore.
