I've seen two like that. I've always wondered why they didn't use the standard black plastic JPT connector there.

Are these crumbled wiring connectors still available to purchase new? Without a new replacement, how could this plug be rehabilitated? Could it be a heat shield somewhere underneath the car? Mine was the fan ran faster or slower depending on accelerating or slowing down when the bearings were worn, no particular noise from the bearings, but I had lubed them.

We were going to put a few mls of oil in each cylinder, but after doing #1, the rubber boots from the IPD spark plug wires stayed on the plugs when the wire was pulled off.
