Interesting story. Brother still owns his 70 Charger R/T. 440, 4 bbl, A833 4-speed, Dana 60 3.54 ratio. Sublime green and black vinyl top. Bought in 1979. I overhauled the engine at that time when I was in Vo Tech. A couple years later we put a pair of 915 heads on it. That's the only modification.

I bought a generic receptacle with pig tails from the local parts store, then took off front bumper cover to remove headlight assembly so wiring could be done indoors with sufficient space. Sunroofs are great in theory but always leak, so I'd prefer not to have them. The gap in this gasket explains why I hear so much air rushing in at highway speed. I'll try to find another sunroof in a junkyard, but would likely have to patch up any slight rust that it might have. Then remove the head...
