Re: Fuel pressure maxing out to 111 psi?

Check that your PEM was relocated to spare wheel well. If not, it sits by the fuel filter, and you need a harness to relocate it.

Re: 2007 Volvo XC70 - A/C Problems, Where to start...?

Get yourself A/C kit with gauges and vacuum pump like that: https://www.amazon.com/VIVOHOME-Manifold-Conditioning-Refrigeration-Recharging/dp/B07LBLDZ89 You are supposed to vacuum the system very well in order to evacuate all the trapped moisture before adding new refrigerant. If it sat open for too...

Re: AW55/50 Dipstick Oil Level

Not sure what you mean by threshold being tripped but this is an age counter normal to the TCM. As the fluid ages the computer has certain variables that indicate its aging which it "counts" and will adjust parameters to keep shifting as optimal as possible over time. This is normal for w...

Re: What year XC70 should I get as a daily?

The least troublesome P2 wagon for me was 02 V70 with no AWD and basic NA engine. Both 05 XC70s I've had were money pits. One is still up and running, but everything in it has been fixed or replaced, and sometimes more than once.

Re: Thinking about a P2 V70... experiences/what to look for?

Re: Bypassing heater core 2004 S60

volvothaifactory wrote: 15 May 2025, 14:35 do you know some good OEM ones?
People fit XC90 ATF coolers in with minimal efforts. I have just a generic Hayden ATF cooler in line with heat exchanger and no thermostat, it works well.

Re: Side illumination?

So the only solution is adaptive headlights? Wife's past car was 2016 XC60 in top trim. It has had adaptive Xenon headlights, and it still was worse than she has now in her Sequoia. Toyota simply makes a wider light beam pattern, so you see corners well. I certainly wouldn't invest time and money i...

Re: Can using No-ox-it cause slow starting?

Yeah, you likely added resistance between the battery and the starter.

Vova585 wrote: 20 May 2025, 19:42 I would question that. NO-OX-Id is specially formulated to conduct electricity.
Sure, the question is: does it conduct electricity better than shiny metal clamped tight to shiny metal?
