Re: Interesting Climate Control Behavior
Picked up a CCM from a 2006 S60 (along with some non-wrinkled a-pillar covers) from the local salvage yard and installed the climate control fan off it into my wagon. Seems to be working as intended over a 30 minute test drive.

Re: Need Tire Opinion
The difference in overall diameter is really too much, over 3". I'm not sure it will even fit inside the fender. I would be fine with a difference up to 1" or so https://tiresize.com/comparison/

Re: Volvo VIDA J2534 Cable vs DICE?
How about $36.00 with free shipping. They ship from China. It does take some time for them to arrive.

Re: 2004 XC70 Headlights always on
Thanks so much. It turns out the sensor is, in fact, a 1mm x 2mm spot at the bottom of the Climate Control Module. Odd place for it, to be sure. It might just need the sludge cleaned out for it to work more reliably. FYI, LEDs can be and are used as light sensing devices as well and it looks like th...

Re: ATF flush question
I recently acquired an '07 XC70 to replace my '02. The tranny on the '02 had been maintained with regular transmission fluid services and when I bought it at ~100k fluid was pink. I kept up replacements every 25k miles but nonetheless by 170k it was feeling iffy, even with B4 servo upgrade and retra...

Re: s60 t5 2006 stalling
I suspect that the CEM is setting a lower pressure in response to a problem in fuel air management. I am going to try replacing fuel injectors as if one is leaking then extra fuel could get into the engine. I replaced my fuel pump, then later I replaced all 5 injectors, of which one leaked all the ...
