Just picked up an ‘04 2.5t w/ 300k miles on the car and a replaced motor. It’s got a nice list of issues but I love it! I currently have 4 Volvos now and I think this is now my favorite over my ‘02 v70xc that needs a head gasket. My other 2 are p1s. I’ll can’t wait to start in on fixing this xc90 up...

Loosen wheel bolts, raise the car, slip a wheel chock inder the tire from the side, lower the car, done.
Especially effective when the car doesn't run.

So I have been trying to get both oil cooler hoses for the '99 V70, and I have found two options. First, buy the replacement ones made by URO. Enough said. Second, pay to have the long hose sent here from Sweden. Time frame of approximately a month. Short hose is NLA from Volvo. I didn't like either...

Cam sensor & distributor plate can go in two ways...one way is a no start.
Re-position them.

Turns out I didn't have the distributor lined up in the cam slot properly.
