Hi,
Bad experience on the highway. The car stopped accelerating.
Need "Throttle body control rod"

Please does anyone have an idea where i can get one?
Volvo dealer in the area said he could not get one.

The severely discharged battery may be working the guts out of the alternator (pushed to maxium output). Put the battery on a battery charger for at least 72 hours, then try again. If you get new calipers, grab the caliper slide pins from your factory ones. The pins on the rebuilds are usually pot metal junk.

It -could- be two burned valves in two adjacent cylinders, but that’s highly unlikely. A “leak down” test will tell you where the air is leaking out. You can do this.
