Re: Serious Timing Issue

Ok, to make this as easy as possible, I just need the correct answer to this hypothetical situation. If you have a 06 s60R, with no timing belt on it, the crankshaft marking is in its correct position to the blocks marking, but the cams are not lined up and am not sure if they have been rotated or ...

Re: 04 V70 2.5T MAF reads way high, no codes, stalls out

If you ruptured a hose anywhere between turbo outlet around back to throttle you'd have your symptoms. Intercoolers can split at core to end tank seam also so that needs to be checked. The turbo can pump air out of the leak as it is driven enough by exhaust the moment you start engine to force the a...

Re: Main Fuse Box - Mass of wires?

The connectors for front wheel speed sensors had resistance on some 850s and the fix was to solder and heat shrink. That is the repair shown. If you go find the wires on right and left headed to the wheel area you'll find the brown and black sets there.

Hi thanks I've seen that diagram but its semetrical no front or back That diagram tells you everything you need to know. If you are looking at the ECU, the B-bank is on the right. If you're looking at the ECU plug(with it unplugged from the ECU), it's on the left. The "top" of the ECU is ...

^^^ Sometimes referred to as The Smoke Wrench ! grass_image001_SrptJhI.jpg This made me chuckle! aejbkzg.jpg I think "cheater" came about because you are "cheating" the amount of leeeverage (that's British) your bar was supposed to come with. Some friends and I recently blew apar...

Re: The Resurrection/Insurrection of GrunHilde - 1998 V70 NA M56 421 Green

IF you clean the grease off around the shaft you should find a hidden reverse 'C' clip. You have to hold the shaft in a strong bench vice, expand the clip and hit the knuckle up on off. Much easier with a helper unless you have 3 hands. Sometimes the clip gets stuck in the groove. You may have to wo...

Re: P80 AWD prop shaft balancing

Yes for 97-98 (they had 855 AWD in Canada and other parts of the world) and maybe a portion of 1999 the longer bolts were the balance weights. The driveshafts were then balanced whole and the driveshaft flanges at viscous coupling and angle gear had improvements in radial runout and the flanges adde...
