I have an '04 t6 with 108k on it and I have not had one problem with it! Except for the third row seat going down! As far as the engine goes, runs as fine as the day I drove it off the lot!

I fixed it by changing the ignition switch and the antennae ring parts. These are both accessed by removing the cover around the steering column/indicator switches.

No need for all the histrionics to replace siren module if you use the 'remove front bumper' technique. This alone puts the **** up[ people, but it is true. Removing the bumper is easy and quick.
