Re: Volvo Synthetic oil campaign 2016 - warranty requirement?
Thanks for keeping the oil discussion civil For those seeking a generic path to oil change interval nirvana.... Unless your driving is really pathological ( all short trips) use a synthetic oil and change it at 5000 miles, and have Blackstone run an analysis. Adjust interval accordingly based on dat...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
Finally saw my doctor a few days ago, and had lab work done. My ALP liver enzymes are on the high side, which I'm hoping isn't something too serious. Going back in a month to have lab work done again to see if anything changes. My fiance is still having a rough time with her CHF. Lots of swelling in...

Re: I need an engine for my 98 xc
How can we get my long block from ALB TO Ok on the cheap? Ideally, catch a ride with somebody making a trip from the North east to or through Oklahoma in a truck. Should be able to crate it and get it in the back of a XC90. Put the crate on plywood with a little sand it it should slide in and out. ...

Re: Robert DIY His car has been stolen
I had a kid try to steal a "small" dump truck back when I lived down south. Apparently the idea of driving stick got him, and then the fact it had 4WD got him again with the stick for that. We caught the little bugger on camera, but this was the 90's and he looked like a snowflake or cotto...
