Re: 1998 V70XC won't shift out of park
You don't need to disconnect at the lighter. Unplug the two large white connectors aft of the shift mechanism and that part of the console should lift out. But you really need to verify the two previously mentioned items first or you may be creating unnecessary work for yourself. Remove the shift kn...

Re: P80 late purge valve (s) 9470755 8627005 - fitment for 98 99 00 cars
My 775 reads 22.9 ohms. N.C. It takes 1.75oz. weight to physically open valve. Don't know if it makes any difference.

Re: 99 v70 radiator replacement.
I put a Nissens in a couple of months ago, it fits fine. For information go to Rock Auto and look at their info listings for radiators. They list the Nissens core as being 1 5/8", the others are listed as 1 1/4". I suspect this is a case of (not) getting what you pay for.

Re: 1997 850 out of alignment after CV Axle replacement
If you did remove the ball joint pinch bolt, make sure the ball joint is fully seated before installing the pinch bolt. Re: Leaking transmission sump on 2000 S70
I saw the Oregon link too, but was hesitant to recommend them without seeing a picture. You figured that out. The HB4 was used at a friend of mine's trans shop for case halves, also for motorcycle engine and trans cases and you can find it locally at most Honda powersports retailers. Yes, Whatever i...

Re: 98 v70: steer me to the steering rack replacement topic
I've used the Edelmann kit and it seems to be working well enough. I would disassemble the pump first because it the vanes are broken or the body is too heavily scarred then it's a tosser. Be warned that the pump body is spring loaded against the retaining lock ring. Also, carefully note the positio...
