Re: 1996 850 rear hub torque specification, updated, two different nuts used, change in 1996
Found this in VIDA. Vehicle profile set to 1996 AME 850. Information type: Specifications, mechanical. Search all for "Rear wheel hub" you should find it. One thing Volvo is infamous for is: midyear production changes that are not uniform across the production plants. Jim Bee: What is the ...

Re: new 2001 v70 - ecm8606 question
Volvo Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) format: Control Module-DTC number. The three character alpha prefix is the control module, in this case ECM (Engine Control Module). The suffix is the Diagnostic trouble code (DTC). A conversion table not worth much for this code because Volvo ECM-6806 = P1237. P1...

Re: Air Cleaner Assembly - Vacuum Leak
All four of the codes are Long-term fuel trim. Yes a air leak can cause all of them. Any air leak after the MAF sensor can be the cause. Shut down engine, camshaft position se...

Re: Air Cleaner Assembly - Vacuum Leak
P0190 - ECM-280B: Fuel pressure sensor. P0188 - (ASE): Fuel Temperature (Sensor B) Circuit High ... I don't think Volvo ever used P0188. For the PCV, do the glove test. Tie down the glove so that it does not get sucked into the engine if it passes. Fail: If the glove stands up. Pass: If the glove su...

Re: Air Cleaner Assembly - Vacuum Leak
Figured there was something wrong with the information. I could not find a fuel pressure sensor or a fuel temperature sensor. Replacing a oxygen sensor (HO2S) should be the last resort. Keep looking for leaks in both the intake and exhaust systems. ---------------------------------------------------...

Re: Tcm issues help me out
I hear you on the overhead support. My seller has a 98% Positive feedback but if you look through the negatives. Most of it is people that cannot figure out how to extract 6+ GB of compressed data off a 4GB DVD. To anybody reading this: If you are willing to wait for the shipment to come from Shenzh...
