Re: Is Beck Arnley blue coolant any good for 850?

Go to the shop and find out exactly what they put in, brand and model. If you cannot get that information, it is better to error on the side of caution. Replace it. Do not get hung up on the color of antifreeze. There is no color standards for antifreeze. They can use whatever color they want for an...

Re: Her first CEL

Also I have noticed that when I punch it enough to engage the turbo, the ABS light comes on. Only time that light comes on. The P80s are notorious for cracked solder joints at the ABS connector. I an thinking: When you step down the engine torque moves the ABS harness, opening solder cracks on the ...

Re: 2004 bad turbo and engine? Help!

I've ordered a compression tester, so I'll check that next to see if it's the same. Hope you ordered one with a metal extension and not just a rubber hose. If you use the a rubber hose extension in the deep Volvo spark plug well, the metal end of rubber hose may start slipping when you go to take i...

Re: Rear door stuck

The rear seat is just clipped to the floor. One of the wires that forms the seat frame is slipped into a catch on the floor and at the front edge of the seat. There are two, on on each side. Push the front of the rear seat toward the rear of the car and lift up. You might need to push pretty hard to...

Re: The Great Lighting Mystery

Lighting parameters can be set with Vida 2014D and a good DiCE clone. The options vary from model to model. On my S40 I turned off Daytime Running Lights. Got some fog lights and light switch from a PnP and installed them on the car. Had to change a parameter in the CEM before the Fog Light would co...

Re: XC90 central console backlight bulb type?

Volvo Part Number 30739358. I'm pretty sure it is a standard T3 Neo wedge, which you can get on eBay dirt cheap. Way way less the $8.36 a bulb for genuine Volvo.

For less then the price of one Volvo bulb you can get a packet of 20 bulbs .... you could even switch to a LED color of your choice.
