Confirming -
Automatics have an extra set of contacts for
the shift lever interface release solenoid.
If you don't depress the brake pedal,
the car won't let you shift out of Park.
Today I replaced the center cup holder courtesy of the parts car, filled ac 75% full including a small dose of dye, and I got most of the sunroof repasted with rtv (not a stationary type fix).
I am cynical. A common reason for selling after making many repairs is a problem has still not been fixed and the seller has given up on finding the problem and repairing the car.

I am doing some spring cleaning in the shop and outbuilding and have more 850 parts than I need. Volvo literature uses 4/22 for Immobilizer and 4/19 for Remote controller (VGLA) Alarm box's Receiver unit top of Dashboard.. VGLA unit itself is 2/76.
Gonna collect them all.
BTW, just as a follow up, the wafers are .045" x .300" x .350". Could not read the ohms as it was not within either of my meters range. Might help someone.
