Right temperature damper motor location. CCM-DD32
Hi guys … Where is right temperature damper motor in 2006 Volvo XC 70???? Cold air is blowing from the right side. I removed glove box, wiggled left and right all connectors on all motor I could reach, this seems cleared all error codes and hot air started coming out from the right side. But this di...

Front passenger seat swap
2006 XC70 w leather power seats. Seats cracked, burnt spots, something is going on w heat pad. I mean it is functional but my guess it was a water/food spill what cased leather damage. Visited a local upholstery shop - they will fix cracks for $$$ but I don’t think they will address a root cause. Wh...

Compatible headlights for Volvo XC70
Hi... I want to replace my headlights on 2006 Volvo XC70. After research, my understanding this part is for 2005-2007 XC70 only But I see that people on eBay are selling headlights off 2005-2007 S60 claiming they are compatible with 2005-2007 XC70. Is it true? I have a donor 2006 S60 and wondering i...

Re: ABS Pump Motor Failure Questions
Thank you abscate ! SOLVED Swapped ABS motors from junk yard and everything is back to normal. ABS error is gone. I'm getting ABS-0103 Pedal position sensor. Faulty signal. I think I touched the connector when was swapping the motor, they are close to each other. But this is a different story, I'm s...

Re: ABS Pump Motor Failure Questions
Hi guys...I'm trying to solve BCM-0070 error. I will be replacing ABS pump motor. I went to a junk yard and picked up one, tested on 12V, seems it's spinning as expected. On other threads there are a lot of How To info, no question here how to replace the motor. My question is about part numbers. Do...

Re: TCM swap
Thanks everyone and vtl! I agree with everything said above. That makes sense. However, one thing bothers me...... Car runs just fine after start. After analysis I can state that the problem comes up 100% after running the car for 20-30 minutes. What has changed? - temperature of ATF, pressure, prob...

Re: TCM swap
Thank you for explaining these things. It makes sense. My problem is mostly when downshifting to the 1st gear on traffic lights, it bangs; also in traffic jam when you do stop and go - hard shift and kick; and D<>R; Sorry hard to explain, some days the car runs just fine, but sometimes it goes into ...

Re: TCM swap
Thanks vtl for all your comments, I feel you are reading my mind. "So, is it shifting acceptable during normal driving?" - I would say yes acceptable. The problem at stop signs, set of lights, feels like someone hits you from behind. A bit scary. In these moments my wife says I want a new ...

Re: TCM swap
I agree, your statements above vtl are correct. I added 1 oz Lubegard. Drove for 2-3 days - didn't feel an effect. Added another oz of Lubergard. After driving for two days noticed that shifting is a bit smoozer. However, now I can reproduce the problem 100% by : hold brake pedal, shift from D to R,...

Re: TCM swap
It "kicks" on the stop signs, red lights, going downhill. I guess transmission needs to go from one to neutral; lower speed. Feels like..hmmmm... put a newbie who never drove manual transmission and who doesn't release clutch pedal nicely, just hard shift, kick, hit to the transmission.......
