I've read that parking brakes can delaminate and seize the hub from a s60 owner, does that apply to XC90?

So having the part on hand would be a good idea just in case with the rotor out?

One bad bushing out of 4 is not enough to cause severe subframe movement. Most likely you didn't align the subframe when it was bolted on after bushing replacement. Easy to overlook. The timeline information is blank when I try to look at each codes. It would be very helpful to know the history of a fault to know how long it has been occurring. Anyone know how I can retrieve history?

Are there any specific modules responsible for the record keeping/history information of codes?

That is reassuring. Did he ever replace the tensioner prior to 180k? Hopefully that represents the norm rather than very good luck!

Thanks. I understand the tensioner seems to be what causes the majority of timing belt failures. There is no way to inspect unless the belt is off?

I find this thread very helpful. I recently got a 04XC90 2.5T. It currently is approaching 69K miles. Anyone heard of timing belt failure below 100k miles that are over 10 years in models that share same timing components/engine?

Please does anyone know why date fault first found is not available? Timeline is not accessible either.
