2007 XC-70; Correct / Interchangeable Rear Seat Belts?

We recently got a 2007 XC70 and this week discovered that the right rear seat belt was cut and the cut end stuffed into a seat crack. Are these interchangeable with all P2's? Which would fit? Would S40 parts fit?

Re: I need a new key/fob for my 2007 XC70...

To clarify, he needed access to the car and probably Internet, too?

He had the car to test the new keys but did NOT connect to the the OBD port or connect with any electronic communications. I don't think he even looked at the VIN number. He used his cellphone internet for reference - not sure ...

FYI - Excellent P2 XC70 Key duplicate experience in central Kentucky

In Richmond, KY - I just had a excellent experience with Yuri at Second Key Locksmith (605) 740-5009. He's native Ukrainian and not afraid of European cars. I had one working but badly damaged key and he created two new basic keys for $185. He's willing to travel a bit. 2007 P2 XC70. He has a ...

Will a later model ABS pump motor fit a 2006 S60?

My ABS light has been on (it turns off in very cold weather) and it shows error codes BCM0070 and 0072 which I'm reading is usually lack of power to the motor or a bad motor.

I'd hope to avoid another 18 year old motor and more recent ABS unit's motors look the same. Are they interchangeable? What ...

Re: Correct Timing Belt Kit for 2005 S60 with replaced engine?

I may take another look tomorrow if I can learn where to look; can't find my inspection mirror. It looks to me like the right-angle legs of the later tensioner are on opposite sides of a bolt head. There is a second large sticker toward the top center of the timing cover but mine's totally white.

Re: Correct Timing Belt Kit for 2005 S60 with replaced engine?

Don't use the VIN number, it's the engine serial number that matters. The engine number is on a sticker on the timing belt cover ......

So I got a picture of the faded timing cover sticker and (I think) a view of the "dogleg" later pulley. The engine number best as I read it is 0758534 so ...

Correct Timing Belt Kit for 2005 S60 with replaced engine?

We have an all-stock 2005 S60 2.4L that we bought from a mechanic who said he replaced the engine with a newer one after the first "blew up". The body VIN number ends with .....2460544 which places it below the ".....3188689 break point" for the 2 available timing belt kits.

Per the parts catalog ...

Re: How stiff are window slider blocks supposed to be??

It's back together electrically and seems to work fine. I compared the new blocks to the remaining Volvo part and the friction torque is similar although the new parts have some plastic flash. Tomorrow we'll decide whether to use pop rivets or bolts for the door assembly and fit the replacement ...
