Heater core would mean wet driver's footwell, but the foam is so thick and porous it would take months to notice. Might be worth removing the carpet completely and inspecting. I had a small crack at the coolant tank where the lower hose attaches. Would only leak under pressure. Cheap and easy replacement

Coolant leak on a Volvo V70 2.4 turbo. Every 20 to 2hours of driving I need a cup or two of coolant. After turning the car off and waiting 15 or so minuites the overflow tank still has pressure.
