Re: S70 T5 1998 Winter Tires
I thought I should give a review on those tires in case anyone else comes looking. They're working pretty good. The winter here has been quite uneventful, not much snow at all. But on trips up north they work quite well. Not much noise either for winters. On different cars I've used Blizzaks that se...

Re: S70 T5 1998 Winter Tires
Never went up to Saskatoon... passed through a couple times on the way up north to a friend's cottage though. Same friend hit some ice and spun her sable on hwy 1 just coming into Regina. Car went into the ditch and somehow ended up on the roof. Lucky for her no injuries other than a frozen ass wait...

Re: Molyslip and Ceramic Oil
I've heard of people adding MoS2 in powder form. From what I understand though there will be limited suspension.... Products that contain solids in liquid usually invest a lot of time (and money) in suspending those solids, hence the high price I assume. If I was you before I started putting any pow...

Re: CD not ejecting HU-850
Good recommendation. I once had a 6 disc changer in the dash with the slot you load the one into. I thought there was still a spot open, so I grabbed the cd I wanted to stick in, pressed load and proceeded to start inserting the cd. What I didn't realize was that the changer was full so as I was sti...

Re: what do you think
I don't know man, I'm no expert by any means but it sounds like she may me a lemon. Work out the cost to fix all issues. Then determine the cost of the replacement vehicle less what you know (not what you hope for but what you know) your car can sell for. If money is your primary motivator take the ...

Thanks for the recommendation, means a lot from a Saskatchewanian
Used to drive from Moose Jaw to Regina and blowing snow across the trans canada could be quite hazardous
Too late for me though, Falken's were ordered. Will install this week.

Re: Molyslip and Ceramic Oil
Why adding molybdenum additive in oil when you can buy oil with that additive in it.It's Liqui Moly Mos2 leichtlauf 10w-40 semi-synthetic oil. Well what I like is that I can use whatever brand oil I want and add the Molyslip. I don't have to be limited to only a handful of companies that include mo...

Re: Molyslip and Ceramic Oil
Interesting, I hadn't really thought the process through before you asked the question. I use E in both my cars, one being my S70 T5, and have never had any problems with my engine. But the turbo question got me thinking and it's probably even better to use this stuff in turbo engines. If you ever g...

Re: S70 T5 1998 Winter Tires
Thanks again for the info.... I'm going to try the Falken's out, I like the price. I'd still like to hear if someone else has used them but if not I'll report back my findings

Re: S-70, '98, Starting problem
Well you could open up the hood and try taking the fuel line off, turn the ignition, don't crank it, and gas should start spurting out which would indicate your fuel pump was still working.... Maybe you should try recreating the situation, throw some weight back in the trunk and see if it is still a...
